The main broadcast crew for the NASCAR Cup Series on Prime will feature Adam Alexander, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Steve Letarte. They will also be on the call for practice and qualifying, which have remained on Prime all season long.
Alexander is also the main announcer for the Xfinity Series on The CW. Earnhardt Jr. is best known these days for hosting his podcast, The Dale Jr. Download, and for owning JR Motorsports, his championship team in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series. Letarte is a former crew chief for Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. He also now works with NBC and TNT's broadcast crew, which will take over after Prime's five-race schedule concludes.
For those unfamiliar, watching the races on Amazon Prime will require a subscription. Prime Video, as a standalone service, costs $8.99 a month for fans who do not already subscribe. A subscription is required to access the race coverage.

The debut race takes place Sunday at 6:00 p.m. ET. The Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway is the longest race on the NASCAR schedule this season. It will follow the Indy 500 and the Canadian Grand Prix in Formula One.
The Indy 500 will begin at noon Sunday on NBC. The Canadian Grand Prix will air on Apple TV+ at 4:00 p.m. ET.
Memorial Day weekend Sunday is widely hailed as 'The Greatest Day in Motorsports.' Historically, Formula One raced the Monaco Grand Prix on this day. In 2026, the schedule was modified. The race, which is usually in the morning in the U.S., now starts at 4:00 p.m. ET. It is expected to be finished in under two hours, just in time for the Coca-Cola 600.
