PSG Gives an Update on Ousmane Dembele's Injury

Paris Saint-Germain was finally officially crowned the winner of Ligue 1 after the match against Paris FC (2-1).

Despite losing the match, the Parisians were already too far ahead in goals to be caught, so they won the title.

However, not everything was happiness, as one of the key players, Ousmane Dembele, was injured very early in the game in the 26th minute.

After the congratulations, the club's official account stepped in to address Dembele's situation.

In the official document, the club reports that Ousmane Dembele was substituted as a precaution after the Frenchman experienced discomfort in his right calf while playing against Paris FC.

The report also clarifies that the Ballon d'Or winner will have to spend a few days in the infirmary.

"Having been taken off as a precaution after experiencing some discomfort in his right calf against Paris FC yesterday evening, Ousmane Dembélé will remain on the treatment table over the next few days."

It is no surprise to anyone that many on the Parisian roster are beginning to feel the ravages of the intense matches that were played in the Champions League.

In fact, several players were reported as injured after the semifinal matches against Bayern Munich.

Willian Pacho, Warren Zaire-Emery, and Nuno Mendes were among those injured in the second leg as a result of the match's demands.

And as for the Frenchman, although people were very worried when the player left the field, as the Champions League final against Arsenal is expected to be as intense as the semifinal, the report left them a little calmer.

There is no rupture, just discomfort, which is a relief, and there is no concern at the club about it.

With only 12 days before the great Champions League final, Dembele will have to continue resting for the big match along with the other injured players.

Achraf Hakimi is another key piece. The Moroccan has been absent due to an injury to his right thigh, but he has already begun his recovery and is progressing well, so it is expected that he will return for the final along with Dembele.
