Bayern had second meeting with Eichhorn, prepped to make long-term deal (BuLi News)

Bayern Munich seems to be making every effort to convince Hertha Berlin midfield phenom that he should make the jump to Bavaria this summer:

Bayern Munich have reportedly stepped up their interest in 16-year-old Hertha BSC midfielder Kennet Eichhorn.

According to Sky Germany, the German champions recently held a second meeting with the player as they aim to persuade him to choose them over several other top clubs interested in his signature.

The report adds that Bayern are prepared to offer Eichhorn regular playing time and a long-term contract running until 2031.

With every passing day, Eichhorn appears to be more and more of a priority for the Bavarians. Will he choose to make the jump to the big stage in Bavarian or will be opt to take a more phased approach and look more closely at RB Leipzig, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Borussia Dortmund?

Valverde to United? (ESPN)

It is not shocking to see Fede Valverde’s name linked with a Real Madrid exit after getting into a scrap with Aurélien Tchouaméni last week, but it feels like Tchouaméni might actually be the one to leave first if Real Madrid has to make a “him or me”-type call:

Manchester United are plotting a move for Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde, claims The Mirror. The report states that Los Blancos officials are looking at a possible exit for the 27-year-old, following his training ground altercation with teammate Aurélien Tchouaméni. Man United are monitoring Valverde’s situation as they draft up options to improve their central ranks, having been linked with several players for the summer already.

No contract offer for Kane…yet (Sport Bild’s Christian Falk)

As of now, Bayern Munich has not sent a contract proposal to Harry Kane for the Englishman to mull over per Sport Bild’s Christian Falk:

❌ It is NOT TRUE: Bayern Munich have a contract offer on the table for Harry Kane. As they say, often 1 +1 =2. Bayern Munich want to keep him. Kane is feeling very fine, very well in Munich. Bayern want to open talks with him about a new contract before the World Cup. The England captain is of an age where you’re not going to give him a five-year contract. So, a one-plus-one kind of deal makes sense. I think this could happen in the future, but it’s not the case that the negotiations are so clear at present. Kane is totally relaxed, and for him, it would be fine to talk after the World Cup. So, you see, he’s relaxed with the situation in Munich because he’s enjoying life at the club.

Some folks are getting antsy about this, but there is no reason to worry yet. Kane is likely going to gamble on himself and see how much more value he can add to a contract with a strong performance in the World Cup. The veteran striker has nothing to lose here.

City wants €70 million for Marmoush (ESPN)

If anyone wants to take Omar Marmoush off of Manchester City’s hands, they will have fork over €70 million:

Manchester City want a fee of a least €70 million for the transfer of Omar Marmoush, if the forward is to exit this summer. Football Insider states that Pep Guardiola’s side are not prepared to make a loss on the Egypt international, who moved to the Etihad Stadium for that fee from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025. Marmoush, 27, has played just over 600 minutes in the Premier League this season and Aston Villa have been touted as possible suitors.

Barcola probably too expensive for Bayern (Sport Bild’s Christian Falk)

Bayern Munich still likes Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola, but it will be financially difficult to get a deal like that done:

I made a few calls about Bradley Barcola, and I heard he’s not considered unsellable at PSG. However, you would have to come to the table with €100m [£86.4m]. So, this is hard for Bayern! It’s more than what they’d have to pay for Anthony Gordon. It would be an interesting option for Bayern Munich – but it’s hard to commit to at this price.

List of clubs eyeing Guirassy (Sky Germany)

There are a laundry list of clubs lining up to get Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy:

Despite scoring 16 Bundesliga goals, Guirassy harbors a certain degree of dissatisfaction. While he maintains a good relationship with coach Niko Kovac , he is not happy with the team’s style of play. After two years and 59 goals in 95 competitive matches, the 30-year-old striker is now seeking a new challenge.

The €50 million release clause, revealed by Sky Sports and applicable to seven top clubs, has dropped significantly. Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal can activate the exit option, but so far none of these giants have made a move. Currently, in addition to AC Milan, Tottenham Hotspur and Fenerbahce are interested in a transfer.
