Arsenal have been dealt a huge blow as defender Ben White is set to miss the Champions League final due to an injury, according to the Sun. The Gunners star started against West Ham United on Sunday but was taken off in the first-half, with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta fearing the worst. The Emirates Stadium club will now be without White against Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the elite European competition, and he could also miss the World Cup.
The Arsenal defender injured his knee and was spotted leaving London Stadium with a brace. White appears to have suffered a medial collateral ligament (MCL) injury and the North Londoners are also without Jurrien Timber. England international midfielder Declan Rice featured at right-back when White was withdrawn on Sunday before returning to midfield after Cristhian Mosquera came on. The Spaniard is expected to start in the position against PSG if Timber is not fit to feature. Arsenal will hope none of their key players picks up any injury into their final three games of 2025-26.
