Paris Saint-Germain could strike hard in the transfer market in the coming months. Fermin Lopez is of strong interest to Luis Enrique and the Parisian management.
PSG wants to continue its policy of stability. But Luis Enrique would not say no to the possibility of making one or two big moves in the next transfer window.
The Spanish coach has several ideas in mind to strengthen his squad. As often in recent seasons, PSG is keeping a close eye on Barcelona. One profile particularly stands out: Fermin Lopez.
The Spanish midfielder is considered an important part of the Catalan project, but the situation could change if a substantial offer were put on the table.
According to El Nacional, PSG is determined to try its luck in securing the services of Lopez. To maximize its chances, the Parisian club would even be willing to include Bradley Barcola and Lucas Hernandez in a possible operation. However, this scenario remains very unlikely at this stage.
Hansi Flick greatly appreciates his player, and Barcelona would have no intention of opening the door to a departure for the moment.
That said, PSG has already proven it can turn situations around thanks to its financial power. Luis Enrique would be willing to be patient for Lopez and could come back in the coming seasons if the opportunity arises.
To recruit, Paris will also have to trim its squad, and several departures are expected this summer. If the French capital club were to win another Champions League, its attractiveness would only grow.
Lopez remains very attached to his time at Barcelona, but he could reconsider his future if the Catalan club fails to sustain dominance in Europe. And in this context, PSG is lying in wait. Manchester United and Chelsea are also interested in Lopez.
