Who's next for Premier League relegation?

Wolves and Burnley have both already had relegation from the Premier League to the Championship confirmed.

Wolves became the first team this season to be relegated to the Championship after 17th-placed West Ham earned a goalless draw at London rivals Crystal Palace on 20 April.

Just 48 hours later, the Clarets joined them after a 1-0 defeat by Premier League leaders Manchester City.

The final spot will be taken by a London club, with 18th-placed West Ham and 17th-placed Tottenham the only two clubs able to go down.

Spurs currently sit above their capital city rivals by two points, with both teams having two matches left to play.

West Ham's penultimate match of the season is on Sunday, 17 May away at Newcastle United. If the Hammers fail to win that, it would give Spurs the chance to send their rivals down two days later.

Next Tuesday, Tottenham head to Chelsea. If West Ham fail to win at St James' Park and Spurs beat the Blues, West Ham will officially be relegated with one match to spare.

Should West Ham lose, a draw for Spurs would all but relegate West Ham, as Tottenham would be three points clear and have a minimum 12-goal goal difference advantage heading into the final weekend.

Current Opta projections give Spurs a 19.54% chance of going down for the first time in Premier League history, while West Ham have been given a 80.46% chance of finishing in the bottom three.
