Who won NASCAR Watkins Glen race? Winner is Shane van Gisbergen, plus full results

After a late pit stop, Shane van Gisbergen chased down the field in the NASCAR Watkins Glen race and claimed his seventh career Cup victory on May 10 at the Go Bowling at the Glen road course.

It was his first win of the 2026 season and came the day after his 37th birthday.

After falling to the back of the field coming off pit road, van Gisbergen made up 29.2 seconds on 18 laps to retake the lead from Ty Gibbs with six laps left. Van Gisbergen won in 7.5 seconds.

It was the first win of the season for Trackhouse Racing.

Van Gisbergan sat on the pole and led 74 laps, a race high. Michael McDowell finished second, and Gibbs, who led for 17 laps, was third.
