England youth international Laila Harbert is set to join San Diego Wave according to reports.
The 19-year-old previously had a loan stint with NWSL side Portland Thorns but her most recent spell at Everton saw her feature just once for the Toffees – a five-minute cameo in a home defeat to Chelsea.
According to journalist Kathryn Batte of Telegraph Sport, Harbert is expected to make the move to the US where she will be managed by former Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall.
Arsenal have reportedly accepted a bid from San Diego Wave but will have a first refusal option should the club accept an offer for the midfielder in the future.
The Wave are currently top of the NWSL after enjoying a 2-1 win over Washington Spirit at the weekend.
