Rodri still believes Manchester City can win the Premier League title, insisting Arsenal won’t have it easy in their final two matches.

Manchester City won their second trophy of the season on Saturday, defeating Chelsea 1-0 in the FA Cup final, but Pep Guardiola’s side have no time to enjoy the victory.
Like Arsenal, City are gearing up for two games in a week to decide the fate of the Premier League title. The Gunners have a two-point advantage at this stage, but City’s slightly-superior goal difference means even one draw could open things up for a late reversal of fortunes.
Speaking on Saturday, Rodri admitted that’s what he’s hoping for, insisting that it’s never easy to win your final games to close out a title win.

“We know there’s still two games to play,” Rodri said. “They’re massive, and they’re very, very tough and very long. So, everything can happen. It’s just we need them to drop points.
“It can happen in the next one or in the last game. If I were in their position, it’s not easy to finish the task, and we have to be there pushing until the end.
“I mean, from our experience, we were losing the title against Aston Villa at home in the minute 80. So everything can happen in football.
“We know how it’s difficult to close things, and we know how difficult it is to beat every opponent in this Premier League.”

Arsenal will kick things off with a game at home to Burnley on Monday, hoping for a win that would put pressure on City away to Bournemouth the following day.
But a draw (or worse) would provide huge motivation for Guardiola’s side the following day.
A win for Arsenal and dropped points for City on Tuesday would see the title race decided before the final Sunday, but any other set of results will see the Gunners taking on Crystal Palace and City hosting Villa with the title still undecided.
