According to Flo Lloyd-Hughes and Conner Roberts of the Cutback, the North Carolina Courage are the favorites to sign Erica Parkinson.
Parkinson, 18, currently plays for Valadares Gaia (Portugal), but her contract expires at the end of the season. it For North Carolina, her addition alongside young midfielder Riley Jackson and reigning Midfielder of the Year, Manaka Matsukubo would create one of the top midfields in all of NWSL.
However, the summer transfer window for the league doesn’t open until July 14.
The rising star was called in to the England U-23 squad at 17-years old, and then Sarina Wiegman brought her into her first senior camp with the Lionesses.
