KANSAS CITY, Mo. — FIFA has revealed its new line of host city jerseys just over a month out from the 2026 World Cup, with Kansas City being one of the first four to get its own edition.
The jerseys draw inspiration from the cities in which games will be played this summer. However, the price tag is raising eyebrows for some.

That price tag shows $375, plus shipping and taxes for a limited edition jersey and box set, including a “Certificate of Authentication,” a hanger, collector’s book and “luxury boxed packaging.”
Since Thursday, when the jerseys dropped, none of the four editions have sold out. Those cities are Kansas City, Seattle, New York/New Jersey and Boston. Click here to view the jerseys.
The jersey’s design, as well as the price to own one, has also sparked an online frenzy of criticism. For context, a standard edition Leonardo Messi jersey on the FIFA website sells for $130.
