What a moment for Corey Day at Dover Motor Speedway. The young racer gets it done and he did it in the most dirt-racer way possible. Kyle Larson's protege as it were has made his mark on the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series by claiming his second win of the season. He pairs a Monster Mile win with a win from Talladega earlier this year.

Day comes from a sprint car background. Much like other dirt racers we see in the Cup Series, Larson, Christopher Bell, Tyler Reddick, etc., Day found the grip by searching high up on the track. Eventually, it worked and he started to eat away at Justin Allgaier's lead.

When it was time to make the pass, Day got into the wall, but he still cleared Allgaier. From there, he ran away and claimed the victory.

Sam Mayer, William Sawalich, and Austin Hill round out the top-five. Brandon Jones, Carson Kvapil, Ryan Sieg, Sammy Smith, and Anthony Alfredo were the rest of the top-10. Austin Green did a Hail Mary strategy by keeping a set of sticker tires for late, he finished P12, short of where he likely hoped to finish on that plan.
