Saturday was a wash out at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Qualifying has been completely pushed to Sunday afternoon. Indianapolis 500 qualifying is one of the best and most exciting parts of the month of May. IndyCar has put out the new schedule for Sunday.
IndyCar is having to fit a lot of action into a small window on Sunday. Keep in mind there is a small chance of rain for Sunday morning as well.

It was a case of wait and see on Saturday. Unfortunately for IndyCar and the fans, the see part never happened. Rain, rain, and more rain. With it being the Indianapolis 500 and all of the effort the series and Fox have put into marketing the race, I think the momentum of the Month of May is still just fine.
Race fans will wait forever to see these big moments happen. This is a key time in IndyCar's development as a series and its desire to get back to the national and global prominence it once had.
With it being spring time in the Midwest, you can't be surprised when there are days of rain and storms. You just hope that they don't happen and if they do, they are as limited as possible.
Katherine Legge has to be nervous with the bad weather. Hopefully, that isn't an omen for the Indy 500. Legge is attempting the Double and will also be racing in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte, weather permitting. After the last two years and the struggles of Kyle Larson, everyone's fingers are crossed that Legge isn't hindered by the same issues.
