Still recovering from his broken jaw suffered at the literal hands of Anthony Joshua, Jake Paul has now dropped an insane boxing match offer to Canelo Álvarez. Last year in Dec. 2025, Paul faced off against heavyweight Joshua, where he suffered a humiliating defeat and a broken jaw.

Now indefinitely suspended from boxing and doubtful about his boxing future, Paul has sent an offer to Álvarez. During a live-stream amid Betr branding on Wednesday, May. 13, 2026, Paul was heard speaking to Álvarez in the footage. “This is me talking to Canelo,” Paul was heard saying.

In the footage Paul references, he can be heard on a phone call, saying, “I look up to you … you’re an inspiration. Me and you have a lot of similarities.” Someone was then heard asking how much money Álvarez asked, to which Paul responded, “$200 million.”

“Canelo — I have the $200 million for you. Easy money. Jake Paul vs Canelo. Let’s get it done,” he said. “This is what the fans have been waiting for. It’s the biggest fight that can possibly be made in boxing. Canelo said he’s down on the phone, so we’ll make it happen. I have the $200 million. I think that’s going to be the next fight. Sign the contract, Canelo. Let’s make the biggest fight in boxing happen.”

Despite his high hopes and exciting offer for Álvarez, a dark cloud still surrounds Paul’s boxing future. Recently, on the Ariel Helwani Show, Paul shared a detailed answer on his boxing future.

“I’m getting some new scans in a couple of days on the jaw to get an update on the healing process,” Paul said. “We’ll see what my doctors say and if I can even fight again. That is definitely within the realm of possibility. It does feel a lot better as the weeks and time go by. I think it just depends on how the bone heals. There’s also a tooth missing here, and I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to get some sort of implant. We just have to wait and figure out what the smartest thing is for me.”
