Final Injury Report for Sky-Lynx: Will Skylar Diggins, Napheesa Collier Play?

The Chicago Sky are on the road on Sunday night as they travel to take on the Minnesota Lynx in an interconference matchup.

Chicago enters Sunday’s game with a 2-1 record after losing on the road to the Phoenix Mercury on Friday night.

In Friday’s loss to the Mercury, Rickea Jackson led the way for the Sky as she recorded 29 points and six rebounds while Gabriela Jaquez added 13 points and three rebounds of her own.

Now Chicago will try to bounce back on Sunday as they face off against the Lynx in a tough road matchup.

On the other side, Minnesota enters Sunday’s contest with a 2-1 record after defeating the Dallas Wings on the road on Thursday night.

Natasha Howard led the way for the Lynx in Thursday’s victory as she ended the game with 26 points, five rebounds, four assists and five blocks while Courtney Williams recorded 21 points, five rebounds and three assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Sky Injury Report: Will Skylar Diggins, Azura Stevens Play?

For the Sky, they have four players listed on their injury report, including both Skylar Diggins and Azura Stevens.

Chicago has listed Diggins as questionable due to an eye injury that caused her to exit Friday’s loss and she is in danger of missing her first game of the season.

The Sky have ruled out Stevens due to a knee injury that she suffered during training camp as she will miss her fourth straight game to begin the season.

DiJonai Carrington has also been ruled out as she will miss her fourth consecutive contest with a foot injury while Courtney Vandersloot remains sidelined while recovering from right knee surgery.

Lynx Injury Report: Will Napheesa Collier Play?

On the other side, the Lynx have three players listed on their injury report, including star forward Napheesa Collier.

Minnesota has ruled out Collier as she continues to recover from left ankle surgery that is expected to sideline her until early June.

The Lynx have also ruled out Emma Cechova as she will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn ACL in Thursday’s victory.

Dorka Juhasz has also been ruled out with a right mid-foot sprain as she will miss her fourth consecutive contest.
