Draymond Green made Victor Wembanyama's ejection about himself and fans had jokes

Spurs star Victor Wembanyama was ejected in the second quarter of Sunday’s Game 4 loss to the Timberwolves after he intentionally struck Naz Reid in the neck with an elbow. And amid calls for Wembanyama’s suspension, Draymond Green chimed in on the discourse.

His reaction just probably wasn’t received in the way the Warriors forward would have expected.

Shortly before it was announced that Wembanyama would face no discipline for the flagrant 2 foul, Green saw the calls for a Wemby suspension as light compared to how it would be if he had fouled Reid the same way.

Green, though, seemed to miss the reason for that.

Green said that fans had wanted him banned for less, which isn’t true. And the “for less” part of that tweet certainly caught NBA Twitter’s attention.

When it comes to egregious fouls, Green and Wemby aren’t exactly in the same universe.
