Azzi Fudd is ready to rock.
She's making her WNBA regular season debut Saturday for the Dallas Wings against the Indiana Fever.
It's the highest-profile game on the slate, pitting Caitlin Clark against Paige Bueckers. But it'll also be the season debut for the No. 1 overall pick.
Fudd's fans were waiting for her first outfit of the year, too, walking into the arena.
She earned rave reviews:
Most comments had this kind of vibe to them:
Fudd doesn't have quite the same amount of hype around her as Clark and Bueckers did.
Clark and Bueckers, the last two No. 1 picks, each are more ball-dominant guards who control the pace of the game.
Fudd is made more to play off the ball, as a complement in the backcourt to Paige for the Wings.
It will likely work out as a great partnership, as they've got great chemistry from their time at UConn together, and they're obviously close.
Fudd's already making a great first impression, and now she'll get a chance to do so on the court.
