Andy Murray will be at Wimbledon in a surprising capacity

British tennis legend Andy Murray will be at Wimbledon this summer.

Murray is enjoying his retirement by spending time with his family and perfecting his golf game.

However, he will be a fixture in the ATP grass court swing of the season for a surprising and exciting reason.

Murray will join Jack Draper’s team

This is a partnership that British and worldwide tennis fans have wanted to see for years.

Murray previously coached Novak Djokovic for a brief period and has always left the door open to coaching.

However, the timing is somewhat surprising because he recently indicated coaching may be in the distant future.

Regardless, fans could not be happier to see a hopefully healthy Jack Draper joined by the last British man to win Wimbledon, Sir Andy Murray.

The side benefit of this partnership is that we can pull out this hilarious video from the archives and watch it on repeat.

Draper has been dealing with arm and knee injuries dating back to last year’s US Open. The biggest wish is for him to be healthy enough to compete and play well in the grass season at home.

Wimbledon begins June 29, but Draper will likely play a few warmup grass tournaments so we should see Murray in his player’s box in about a month.
