The second major championship of the season is here, and we’ve got a big group at the top of the leaderboard.
The biggest names in the sport, however, are still well back.
Alex Smalley and Maverick McNealy hold a share of the lead of the PGA Championship at the midway point after both got to 4-under on the week at Aronimink. McNealy held a two-shot lead late on Friday afternoon, but he ended up stumbling to the finish a bit.
There are then six at 3-under, just a shot off the lead, as we enter Saturday. Top-ranked Scottie Scheffler is at 2-under, too.
We’ll see who survives Moving Day. Here’s a look at the top of the leaderboard at the midway point of the PGA Championship.
