Paris Saint-Germain prepares to face RC Lens on Wednesday for Ligue 1 matchday 29, and in the midst of preparations, the club released a medical report revealing some absences that could be key.
After the last match that the Parisians played against Stade Brestois (1-0), PSG became even more positioned to be the winner of the Ligue 1 McDonald's trophy.
And although PSG sits in first place in the league standings with 73 points, and it is almost impossible for Lens to surpass them due to the goal difference, it is always good to arrive with a little more.
Today, the club announced the classic medical report before the match, and to the fans' concern, there are seven confirmed absences, including none other than the midfielder, Kang-In Lee.
According to official information, after a blow to his left ankle that the South Korean received in the match against Brest, Kang-In Lee will work in the gym in the coming days to recover, so he will not be able to support the team in the match against Lens.
His absence is not too surprising, as the 25-year-old was seen leaving early in the second half of the match against Brest, but fortunately, it does not seem to be a very serious injury, since the team itself describes it as a minor blow, and he will be able to recover in a few days.
In addition to him, his teammates Nuno Mendes, Willian Pacho, and Warren Zaire-Emery will continue their treatment, as we recall that all of them were injured in the second leg match against Bayern Munich, so they will remain sidelined a little longer.
Meanwhile, Quentin Ndjantou, Achraf Hakimi, and Lucas Chevalier will continue doing individual work on the field.
But faith is not lost at PSG, and although there are many absences and the team will arrive diminished for the next match, the fighting spirit remains.
As we saw in the match against Stade Brestois, even when the team was left without most of its starters, the substitutes rose to the occasion and won, so this next match promises to be just as good.
