
Adrien Thomasson (32) is expected to leave RC Lens at the end of the season, according to L’Équipe.
With his contract due to expire next June, the midfielder is reported to have decided to turn down the offer recently made by the club’s management. On good terms with his employers, Thomasson should continue his career in Ligue 1, where he is being courted by Paris FC and Stade Rennais, both of whom are ready to offer him a multi-season deal.
Currently leading the league’s assist charts this season (10), the Bourg-Saint-Maurice native is expected to play his final match at Bollaert on Wednesday against Paris Saint-Germain. Before perhaps treating himself to one last big thrill against OGC Nice on 22nd May, where he has the chance to win the Coupe de France, the second title of his career after the Coupe de la Ligue won with RC Strasbourg Alsace in 2019.
