Caitlin Clark WNBA record
Clark, in just her third WNBA season, came into the 2026 campaign already approaching history. It only took her a few games to officially surpass Courtney Vandersloot, with whom she came into the year tied in all-time games with 20 points and 10 assists.
The stat correction from Friday's matchup against Washington helped Clark secure a 20-10 game No. 11 of her WNBA career, the new record. But then, on Sunday, she extended her advantage on the leaderboard with 21 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds against Seattle.
While Vandersloot played 436 career games with her 11, including 20 points and 10 assists, it's taken Clark just 57 games to break the record.
Sunday also marked Clark's fourth-straight game with 20-plus points and five-plus assists, which is the longest streak to start a season in WNBA history, per ESPN.
After struggling with injuries in 2025, Clark is off to a hot start in 2026, averaging 24.3 points, 9.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds through four games.

Caitlin Clark WNBA scorebook error
Clark only surpassed Vandersloot in the WNBA record books with her performance against the Mystics due to a stat correction.
Though it came in an overtime loss, Clark initially went for 32 points — approaching her career-high of 35 — along with eight assists, four rebounds, two steals and a block, one of her best outings in the pros to date. Later on, the WNBA then awarded her two more assists, pushing her total to 10 and breaking her record tie with Vandersloot.
"That had to be a first, that's a good point," Clark said, per ESPN.
