Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs are now 2-1 up against the Minnesota Timberwolves. After going down 1-0 against the Timberwolves, the Spurs have recaptured home-court advantage and are in a prime position to advance to the Western Conference Finals.
Beating the Timberwolves at Target Center was difficult, but they managed to do so in front of a hostile crowd. However, it seems Wemby and the Spurs are comfortable in such an environment.
Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs love playing in front of a hostile crowd
While this is only the first postseason run for Wembanyama, it feels like he is wiser beyond his age. Considering this is only his third NBA season, he is already in tune with the pressure of the postseason.
Against the Portland Trail Blazers, the Spurs got big wins at Moda Center in Games 3 and 4. It was an impressive performance for San Antonio, and it seems it has become a comfortable situation for the Spurs.

Wembanyama spoke about how he and the Spurs are playing better on the road. That is rare in the postseason, but it just goes to show that Wemby and the rest of his team are comfortable playing away from home.
"Sometimes it feels like being in a more hostile environment, a harder environment, makes us step up our game. Be on our criteria even more. We really try to approach home and away games the same way," Wembanyama said after their impressive Game 3 win on the road.
As the Spurs continue to be one of the best teams in the league, they will be playing in more hostile environments. This Game 3 performance from Wemby and the Spurs should lead to more success in the future.
