With about 100 laps to go in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Dover, Rajah Caruth and Jesse Love got into each other again. This is about the third time the two young drivers have been involved in an incident together this season.
On a restart in the final stage, Caruth and Love were the leaders. With the 88 on the inside, Caruth washed up and into the 2 of Love. Love's crew chief Danny Stockman keyed up on the radio and asked, "Got Rajah'd huh?"
Love took significant damage. Caruth would then get into another incident as he was put middle of three wide and his car washed up the track into Harrison Burton, who was losing ground on track to set up the awkward three-car incident.
Rajah Caruth and Jesse Love have had other incidents this season. It was back at Martinsville Speedway when the two had their original spat. In that moment, Love and Caruth appeared to smooth things over, while crew chief Danny Stockman went balistic at Caruth.
We will have to wait and see how the 2 team responds to this latest incident. Jesse Love definitely got the worst part of this wreck. You can see it in the running order with 60 laps to go. While Love struggles to get into the top-20, Caruth is racing for a top-10 spot as laps wind down.
Right now, Love is 3rd in points and Caruth is 14th in points. It is also worth mentioning that Caruth is not always in the 88 car at JR Motorsports. He splits his time with JRM and the 32 car at Jordan Anderson Racing.
