The NASCAR Cup Series is set to arrive at Dover Motor Speedway for the 2026 All-Star Race. It is the only date in Dover, as NASCAR visits the venue once per season. In 2025, Chase Elliott won the pole for the Cup Series race at Watkins Glen after qualifying was cancelled.
First, the Cup Series needs to qualify for the event in Dover, and the qualifying format is unique. A three-lap qualifying effort with a mandatory four-tire pit stop on the second lap, and the total time will determine the starting lineup for the All-Star Race.
