The 21-year-old is nominated in recognition of his fine 2025/26 campaign for the Magpies, in which the former Chelsea youngster has made 28 league appearances, netting once against Manchester City.
His excellent displays at left back saw him emerge as a key player at St. James' Park over the course of the season and also propelled him into international contention ahead of this summer's World Cup, with Hall earning his third and fourth senior England caps in March's friendlies against Uruguay and Japan at Wembley.
City duo Rayan Cherki and Nico O'Reilly are also on the eight-man shortlist, along with Matheus Fernandes of West Ham, Brentford's Michael Kayode, Manchester United's Kobbie Mainoo and Bournemouth pair Junior Kroupi and Alex Scott.
