According to a report from Abendzeitung’s Kilian Kreitmair and Maximilian Koch, Bayern Munich’s supervisory board will host a meeting today to discuss the club’s future and plans — including potential contract extensions for Max Eberl, Christoph Freund, and Jan-Christian Dreesen, along with a discussion on the summer transfer window:
A meeting of Bayern’s supervisory board will take place tomorrow. The future of Max Eberl, Christoph Freund and CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen will be discussed, with final decisions expected in August. While Dreesen’s extension is considered very likely, the futures of Eberl and Freund remain open. In addition to that, the summer transfer budget will be determined.
Eberl and Freund will know how much money they will have available for new signings. The club sees a particular need for reinforcements at right-back and in attack.
Surely, the plan will be laid out and maybe even approved…then the hard work will begin. With the squad in a very good place, the men calling the shots and the players brought in are going to have a singular focus — help Bayern Munich take the next step to the Champions League finale.
