Racing fans react to Patrick receiving most 'disliked' title

Fans seemed to be split on the decision, though. Many agreed, while others claimed that Patrick really wasn't that dislikable during her time as a racer.

"Please make sure that Danica is in the F1 category as well 😂 and the miscellaneous while we are at it," one fan wrote.

"I was never a fan of Danica’s but wasn’t she voted the most popular driver for like 5 straight years? Did everyone’s view change because she left for NASCAR? I guess I am just surprised the majority of the fan base turned on her," one fan wrote.

"If this pole was taken in 2009 it would be very different," one fan added.

"She was, apparently, a difficult personality. Her lack of education shows through in her post-driving on-camera days," one fan added.

What do you make of Danica landing the most "disliked" driver title among the IndyCar fan poll?
