The Buffalo Sabres are coming off an 8-3 blowout win on the road in Game 6 on Saturday night. After being down 3-1 in Game 6, the Sabres rallied for seven straight goals to avoid elimination from the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Home ice hasn’t meant much in this series or the playoffs for either team. The Sabres come in with a 2-4 mark at home in the playoffs, while Montreal plays its second straight road Game 7 after knocking off the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round.

A big question for the Sabres will be who starts at goalie in Game 7. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen stopped all 18 shots he faced after relieving starter Alex Lyon 10:14 into the game after he’d already allowed three Canadiens goals. Lyon is 1-2 in the series with an .847 save percentage and 4.49 goals-against average, while Luukkonen is 2-1 with a .903 and 2.81.
