The San Antonio Spurs made a statement with a 122-115 double-overtime win over the Oklahoma City Thunder in  Game 1 of the 2026 Western Conference Finals.

Victor Wembanyama had 41 points and 24 rebounds in 49 minutes on the floor. He joined David Robinson to become the second Spurs player with over 40 points and 20 rebounds in the playoffs.

Both team battled hard to open the series. Alex Caruso has 31 points in 32 minutes off the bench to lead OKC. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander played the entire game with 24 points.

The 2026 NBA Western C. onference finals kicks off Monday night with the second-seeded San Antonio Spurs battling the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder.

San Antonio is coming off a 139-109 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday to win their semifinal series, while Oklahoma City swept the Los Angeles Lakers 115-110 on May 11.

Tipoff from Paycom Center in Oklahoma City is set for 8:30 p.m. ET.
