Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Geoffrey Moncada were not in the stands at Marassi for Milan’s away victory at Genoa on Sunday, raising questions about their future at the club.
Milan are preparing for another summer of changes, as club owner Gerry Cardinale announced last week.
Cardinale was at the Stadio Ferraris in Genoa on Sunday as Milan secured a crucial 2-1 victory over the Rossoblu, ensuring the Rossoneri remain in the top four with only one match remaining.
As reported by Sky Sport Italia (via Milannews), both Senior Advisor Ibrahimovic and chief scout Moncada were not at the stadium in Genoa yesterday, fuelling speculations about their futures at the club.
The possible Milan changes after 2026-27: Ibrahimovic in or out?

Ibrahimovic argued with coach Massimiliano Allegri days before Sunday’s match, and the ex-striker’s position at San Siro is reportedly under scrutiny.
The same goes for Igli Tare, who, according to Matteo Moretto, is destined to leave Milan at the end of the season.
Tare, however, sat near Cardinale at the Stadio Ferraris on Sunday, and even CEO Giorgio Furlani, who has been heavily criticised by ordinary fans and ultras, witnessed the Rossoneri’s victory from the stands at Marassi.

Sky Sport notes that Cardinale will have to make decisions after the season’s final game against Cagliari next weekend, inevitably leading to changes in the control room.
If Ibrahimovic stays at San Siro, coach Allegri will almost certainly leave, but the Italian tactician also has a strained relationship with Furlani. Consequently, no one is certain about keeping their spot for the 2026-27 season.
First of all, Milan must secure Champions League qualification against Cagliari on Sunday, and then a new era will likely begin on the red and black side of Milan.
