It has been a near-perfect first-half for the Portland Timbers as they scored four unanswered goals, including a pair of absolute beauties vs Sporting KC.
Kristoffer Velde opened the scoring with a powerful knuckleball from long range.
The goalkeeper could only watch as Velde's strike dipped and swerved into the top-corner.
Minutes later, the Timbers doubled their lead through a lovely team goal, finished by Kevin Kelsy and assisted by a first-touch backheel from David Da Costa.
